Warranties?
Relax. The Hardwood Floor Depot has you covered. Our planks (depending on species type) are harder and more stable than ordinary oak lumber. And they demonstrate the highest levels of dent resistance, wear resistance, and stain resistance found in the marketplace today. All with the customer in mind so the least of your worries will be your hardwood floor.
Our superior craftsmanship allows us to offer you one of the best warranties in the industry subject only to a few common sense exclusions. And what's more, caring for your floor has never been easier. With our simple care instructions you will be able to maintain the original beauty and strength of your hardwood floor from day one.

LIMITED RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURAL WARRANTY
You, the original purchaser, are protected from:

• separation or delamination of the product between plies
• buckling
• warping, twisting, and cupping in normal humidity ranges

In the unlikely event our product fails for any of the above reasons, The Hardwood Floor Depot will replace the defective planks and install new ones at no cost to you for as long as you own your home.

LIMITED RESIDENTIAL SUBFLOOR BOND WARRANTY
Not only do we have one of the most structurally sound floors available, but our installation products are also constructed to meet the highest degree of performance.
If the subfloor is visually dry, without a history of moisture problems, and if it is professionally installed by The Hardwood Floor Depot using either our recommended adhesive or recommended staple down system, The Hardwood Floor Depot will warrant your floor for as long as you own your home against planks releasing from the subfloor from effects of ground moisture (hydra static pressure) or glue bond failure (provided the above specifications were followed). We will replace or repair (at our option) any plank at no cost to you ONE TIME ONLY provided testing approved by us proves the moisture came up through the subfloor and not from any other source such as plumbing leaks, rain, or wet mopping. If the problem occurs a second time, we will conclude that the problem is specific to the site and and therefore would happen again.
In extreme cases of subfloor moisture, some wood planks may mildew or discolor. This is not a manufacturing/installation defect and is therefore not covered by the warranty.

LIMITED RESIDENTIAL FINISH WARRANTY
No-wax, factory applied polyurethane finishes, make wood floor installations fast and easy. Every plank is ready to install right out of the box. There is no need for sanding or staining. And most of the products with a full seven coats of UV cured Aluminum Oxide polyurethane. You gain the assurance of unmatched durability and wearability.
The Hardwood Floor Depot warrants, under normal usage conditions and proper maintenance, that every on-site finishing will not wear though or peel off for the next 25 years.
In the unlikely event there is a problem, the original manufacturer warranty guidance will be followed by Hardwood Floor Depot.Follwing instructions by the manufacturer, The Hardwood Floor Depot will recoat or replace (at manufacturer option) the affected area at no cost to you. (please read the exclusions below)

Environment guarantee
We take the environment seriously. All of the manufacturers timberlands are professionally managed under the Sustained Forest program. Our environmental goals include: wildlife preservation, forest regeneration, limiting soil erosion, and making the most efficient use out of all our raw materials. Other flooring manufacturers, like carpet and sheet vinyl companies, cannot guarantee you they renew resources from which their products are made. Wood is the only natural, renewable resource in the flooring industry.

Who is covered?
These warranties protect you, if you are the original consumer purchaser and have paid for the floor and installation, on any floor graded "first quality" for your own residential use and not for resale. It does not apply to mill-run, specials, or cabin grade floors. It also does not apply to non-residential or commercial installations unless otherwise specified.

Exclusions to warranty coverage
Wood is a natural product containing natural variations in color, tone, and graining. We cannot guarantee against natural variations in color or any other variations, such as mineral streaks, small knots, and grain variations between each plank. Nor can we guarantee against natural variations between samples and installed floor. We make sure you are getting the exactly what you have ordered, our installers will open a few boxes and show you before starting installation. If you are not satisfied with your floor prior to installation, simply return the carton (s) to us for a full replacement.
